Zia

Zia is in her early 20s and works at the Wellness Center, where she also studies massage therapy under a senior practitioner. She is friends with Bri and has taken part in a few of her workshops. Zia rents a bedroom in the co-housing community next door to the center.

After graduating from college in Oaxaca de Juárez, she was drawn to Fern River by its vibrant spiritual and artistic communities. She joins an ecstatic dance group on the Promenade on warm Thursday evenings, attends the monthly sound bath at the Fria, and sits in for talks about bodywork and astrology at the Wellness Center. Zia enthusiastically folds all of these studies into her dream to start a retreat center where spirituality, sexuality, and creative self-expression can mingle in a peaceful, natural setting. Connection with nature is a major source of eroticism for her.
