Nora
Nora is 22 years old and just recently graduated from college. She moved back to Fern River, and teaches contemporary dance (her major) three nights a week while working part time at the Celandine Hotel with Luc, who has been a friend since elementary school. Margot, the owner, is an old family friend (as are Lena & Carlos). She is currently single.
Nora rents an apartment in a lively neighborhood with her older sister Quinn. The two get along well, and go their separate ways most days, but once a week or so they visit the Wellness Center together on women’s night. Quinn got Nora hooked on saunas when she moved back, and Nora quickly sprung for a membership of her own.
As a dancer, she enjoys movement in all forms, and frequently treats everyday tasks as if they were subtly choreographed routines. She appreciates respectful attention on her body, so her visits to the Wellness Center allow her to secretly practice variations of these routines in the nude while enjoying the presence of other bodies nearby. A dream of hers is to choreograph and stage a nude performance of subtle movements, which she calls Effleurements quotidiens. (She figures she might as well put her four years of French to some use.)
In the summer, Nora frequents Heather Beach with friends. The fact that she never knows who she’ll run into there is both exciting and a touch uncertain.
