Luc

Luc studies photography at the local college and works at the Celandine Hotel. His aunt Margot owns the hotel, and offers a room on the third floor for him to live in while he’s a student. In exchange he does laundry, cleans rooms and helps guests here and there as needed. His long-time friend Nora is a coworker.

Outside of work, Luc takes photographs, rides and tinkers with his old road bike, reads novels, swims in the river, and hangs out with his friend Juro. He can come across as reserved and slightly shy, but he’s really just a quiet observer. Friends know him as an outgoing and warm conversationalist. He enjoys people watching, and frequently walks to and from campus along the Promenade. After late-night weekend shows at the Fria café, he sometimes stays at the hostel on Citron Hill with Juro.

Luc grew up outside Fern River, and moved into the city when he started college. While he enjoys the freedom of living away from home, he still runs into acquaintances and family friends (like Lena & Carlos) around town all the time. His dad’s side is Québécois, and he grew up bilingual. His mom’s brother was married to Margot for a time, but they divorced some years ago.
